Linux CD Shop - Linux Mint 4.0 - An Elegant Linux Linux Mint 4.0 - An Elegant Linux Linux Mint 4.0 Beta 021 was released on October 26 2007. Like their tagline; slogan; campaign speech says, Linux Mint is really an "elegant" distribution. I had no issues at all installing Linux Mint 4 Beta on my innotek VirtualBox.The install process is pretty straight forward as I soon had the distribution working fine in my virtual setting. Below you will see a few images of the installation process. 
 
 
 
 
Code named "Daryna" Linux Mint 4 definitely is a Linux Distribution to have a look at. Nice menuing makes it easy to navigate the desktop although it would take a bit of time to get used too. This distribution is not loaded with too many installed packages but more are freely available at all your favorite repos. I have been following Linux Mint for awhile now, and every release seems to get better and better. Not sure if I can mix the words simple and elegant together but this distribution has both..
